Who We Are

DEVCOM ANALYSIS CENTER

MISSION

DAC informs Army transformation and readiness decisions across the system’s life cycle through objective integrated systems-level Analysis, and the development of
credible Data and Analytic Tools.

VISION

DAC is recognized across all echelons of the Army and Department of Defense (DoD) as the premier source for world-class, value-added, all-domain Army systems-level analysis products that are required to inform system design, fielding and operations decisions.

DIRECTOR’S INTENT

Recruit, train, and retain a world-class workforce provided with state-of-the-art facilities and tools that result in the production of unparalleled, well communicated analysis products.

The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Analysis Center, also known as DAC, serves as the Army’s premier systems analysis organization. DAC’s diverse set of core competencies, including cyber resilience, electromagnetic warfare, sustainment, human systems integration, and system performance.  DAC provides state-of-the-art analytical solutions to Senior-Level Army and Department of Defense officials. Having these core competencies in one organization enables DAC to deliver multi-discipline solutions to the Army’s hardest problems.

As the Army’s largest in-house analytical organization, DAC provides objective and reliable analysis supporting Army transformation and readiness decisions. DAC serves as an honest broker for the Army, conducting independent analysis to inform decisions. We use analytic tools and system-level data to provide analysis across the acquisition lifecycle, enabling the Army to provide overmatch.

DAC ‘s expert workforce builds upon prior work and knowledge to better inform decisions as materiel solutions progress through the lifecycle. DAC strikes a balance between addressing today’s mission and preparing ourselves to answer tomorrow’s questions. In this fast-paced world, DAC keeps its eye on the future.

In the complex and rapidly approaching future, DAC will remain committed to ensuring war-winning future readiness, enabling the Army’s success. With DAC’s expertise in performance data, advanced simulations, and innovative methodologies, we are poised to guide the journey to Concept Driven Transformation.
